Bravo Charles Krauthammer! Nuclear weapons treaties certainly are illusory. The same
liberal mentality that thinks vicious criminals will reform if you shower them with
love, trust and respect thinks dictatorships (like China) will abide by signed treaties.
There is nothing a dictatorship would love more than to sign a treaty with peaceful
countries, gain a false reputation as a respectable nation, watch its enemies disarm
and then renege on the treaty when they feel they can get away with it.
